Rhodope narrow-gauge railway among world’s most scenic autumn train journeys, according to survey

The Rhodope narrow-gauge railway is one of the world’s most scenic autumn train journeys, according to an international survey by the British JR Pass tourist platform.

The famed railway line, connecting Septemvri with Dobrinishte, is 6th in the global standings of most beautiful autumn journeys, with 7.81 out of 10, the Bulgarian news agency BTA writes. Based on online views,the Rhodope narrow-gauge railway gets a high average valuation of 4.27 monthly searches. In Instagram, the Bulgarian railway has only 34 hashtags – considerably lower than the other top 10 entries. Other criteria include weather conditions in autumn, such as number of clear and number of rainy days.
