Day of Bulgarian Rock is marked with a large-scale concert of legendary Bulgarian bands

A concert by supergroup "The Foundation", Kiril Marichkov's birthday anniversary and the Day of Bulgarian Rock - these three events come together in one on October 30 in Sofia.

The big concert will bring together legendary Bulgarian rock bands on one stage. These are "The Foundation", "Signal", B.T.R. and "Tangra". A special guest at the event will be Valdi Totev and everyone together will celebrate with music the birthday anniversary of Kiril Marichkov. Although he has not been among us for a year, his life and work continues to inspire Bulgarian rock musicians.


"Kiril Marichkov's birthday has become a holiday of Bulgarian rock. There is no musician who has not been influenced in one way or another by the band Shturcite, by Kiril Marichkov himself - an exceptional person, an exceptional composer," singer of B.T.R. Nasko Penev says.

That is why a year ago "The Foundation" started the initiative to pay tribute to the rich history and cultural contribution of Bulgarian rock musicians on October 30, in memory of the unforgettable Kiril Marichkov. As the organizers claim - the Day of Bulgarian Rock will be much more than a concert! The event on October 30 will become a true celebration of the free spirit and rock - the music that never gets old.
