Bulgaria to equip its military units with drone control simulators

The Ministry of Defense has signed an agreement to procure Springfield Armory pistols for the Land Forces

By mid-December, all military units in the country will be equipped with drone control simulators, said Major General Deyan Deshkov, Commander of the Land Forces, at the Lyulyak training ground near Stara Zagora. He clarified that the drones have already been purchased and are currently being distributed to locations. Deyan Deshkov added that deliveries of various types of reconnaissance and surveillance drones are continuing. 

''Procedures are also underway for the purchase of FPV drones and so-called loitering or kamikaze drones, which are designed for longer distances”, said Major General Deyan Deshkov as quoted by BTADeyan Deshkov also stated that the Ministry of Defense has signed a framework agreement to procure Springfield Armory pistols for the Land Forces. Preparations are also underway to select new sniper systems.
