Bulgarian racing driver Nikola Tsolov is to make his debut before the end of the season in Formula 2, his team Campos Racing has announced. He will take part in the last two rounds for the year in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.

In 2026 Nikola Tsolov will stay with Campos Racing, the team he has been racing with during the past two seasons in Formula 3, and this year he completed his campaign with a vice-champion’s title.

“I have a lot to learn still these two last weekends from the season. I mean mostly procedure – pit stops, returning to the track with cold tires, working with the brakes which are different to those in Formula 3. These are two tracks I am not familiar with and I’m sure it’s going to be very interesting. I am motivated for a good performance and good results but I don’t have high expectations,” Nikola Tsolov says as quoted by the Bulgarian news agency BTA.
