The government will not lease out property of Lukoil in Bulgaria

We hope that today Bulgaria will receive a derogation from the US sanctions against Russian company Lukoil, such as the one in Germany - for 6 months. This was what Boyko Borissov, leader of the GERB party, said. In anticipation of the news from the US, the MP pointed out that there is a 7-hour time difference between Sofia and Washington.

In Bulgaria, as far as it depends on the Bulgarian government, there will be no fuel crisis. This was stated during parliamentary control by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev in response to a question from the opposition.

There is no way for an asset that is not owned by the state to be leased out. This is how Donchev answered a question whether the government should lease out the Lukoil refinery in Burgas to the state-owned Bulgarian Energy Holding, BTA reports.
