Svetlan Stoev is the new ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Switzerland. The presidential decree was published on November 18 in the State Gazette.
Stoev is a career diplomat. He started working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 40 years ago. He has held various positions. He was ambassador to Sweden and Denmark. Svetlan Stoev was also minister of foreign affairs in the two caretaker governments of Stefan Yanev, appointed by President Rumen Radev.
By another decree, the head of state dismissed Radi Naydenov from the post of Bulgarian ambassador to Switzerland.
