At a meeting in Berlin with Google’s Vice President for Government Affairs and Public Policy for Europe Annette Kroeber-Riel, Minister of E-Government Valentin Mundrov stated that Bulgaria’s partnership with the tech giant is of strategic importance in the government’s vision of turning the country into a regional hub for artificial intelligence and digitalization.
“Bulgaria is a stable and predictable partner, offering a reliable environment for long-term foreign investment. With a strategic focus on digital transformation and the development of innovation, our country creates favorable conditions for major technology companies like Google”, said Minister Mundrov.
Among the topics discussed were the possibilities for establishing a Google data center in Bulgaria, as well as investments in digital transformation, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence.
