“Friends”, “The Main Street”, “The Tall Girl”, “Till the Last Hour”, “Guitar on the Platform”, and many more… Rock hits with deep lyrics and messages that shaped more than one generation — this is what we find in the new double live album by the band Factor, titled ''Sreshtu Vremeto'' (Against Time). And time itself seems to be working in their favor for more than half a century. Proof of this was the large audience in Hall No 1 of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia at Factor’s major 2024 concert — the new album presents the recording of that very show. It features songs from the band’s earliest years, as well as from their golden era in the 1980s. It also includes one new track, symbolically titled “Return”. In fact, the band has never stopped existing, but now they are returning to active concert work, because meeting their audience is what matters most to the musicians.

According to the band's new vocalist, Vasil Stoyanov, Bulgaria’s number one hard rock band is precisely Factor. They continue to uphold high musical standards — the vinyl of the double live album was mixed and produced in the United Kingdom, the birthplace of rock ’n’ roll.
The meaningful messages remain very important to the musicians as well — the lyrics of the new song “Return” are once again written by Alexander Petrov, who penned most of the band’s greatest hits. The music is once again composed by Veselin Todorov — the founder of Factor — with all band members contributing to the arrangement.

In fact, the song is only part of the new material they are working on, which is expected to be presented in an upcoming album. As for the piece “Return”, Factor’s guitarist Petar Georgiev — Pesheto says:
“With this song we wanted to show that Factor is back. We’re here again — on the stages of Bulgaria, everywhere. And people can listen to us again, to all those songs they remember and grew up with”.
The band’s new album ''Against Time'' will have its concert premiere on November 27 at Joy Station in Sofia.
