With a cocktail of Bulgarian brandy (rakiya), Bulgaria was represented at the ProWein Exhibition in Düsseldorf - one of the world's largest wine fairs as a host of the most prestigious independent wine competition in the world - Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, which will be held from April 28 to May 1, 2016 in Plovdiv. In ProWein involved are 57 countries and 6,000 exhibitors. Annually, the country that is to host the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is presented at ProWein with a special cocktail of a traditional drink.
The Bulgarian "business card" on the basis of brandy is under the name "Bulgarian Spring" and is the work of renowned specialist Filippo Baldan.
