UNICEF and Bulgarian Ministry of Education to work together for inclusion of children with special needs

A memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science and the UN Children's Fund has been signed by Minister Meglena Kuneva and UNICEF Representative for Bulgaria María Jesús Conde. The two institutions will be working together for the early assessment of the educational needs of children in this country. Experts will share the best practices in the sphere of inclusive education for children with special needs or at risk of learning disabilities, and will be working to provide inclusive learning environment in kindergartens and schools, it was reported.
