Bulgarian MP sentenced to two years of probation for hooliganism

Deputy Chairman of the nationalistic Ataka party Desislav Chukolov was sentenced to two years of probation due to conflicts with representatives of law enforcement bodies downtown Sofia. Chukolov will have to visit a probation inspector on a weekly basis. Besides, he will be fined with 25% of his monthly salary for the whole period of the sentence. The decision of the Sofia City Court is not final, but MP Desislav Chukolov already said that he would not appeal.
