“We attach great importance to Israeli investments in Bulgaria’s economy. This is the best way to extend the traditional relations of friendship between our two countries and peoples,” said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov during his meeting with the visiting President of Israel Reuven Rivlin. Premier Borissov stressed that Israel was an important and viable foreign trade partner to Bulgaria.
“We are expecting to see all of the efforts we have invested resulting in the advancement of trade, investments and tourists between the two countries. The energy industry is another sector where there exists a potential of promoting bilateral relations, most of all in the exploitation and transmission of gas jointly with the other partner countries,” Bulgaria’s Prime Minister said.
During their meeting Boyko Borrisov and President Rivlin also discussed the situation in Europe and the Middle East and commended the cooperation between the two governments in the sphere of security.
