Bulgaria’s Minister of Economy Bojidar Loukarsky met with Senior Vice President of the world’s biggest retail chain Paul Dick. The meeting was held in Walmart’s corporate offices in Little Rock, Arkansas. The main topic of discussion regarded the possibilities for delivery of Bulgarian merchandise to that company. The penetration of Bulgarian products and items into Walmart’s stores may boost significantly Bulgaria’s exports to the USA, taking into consideration that Walmart has nearly 6.500 stores in the USA and over 11,500 in twenty eight other countries. Walmart’s Vice President Paul Dick said that Bulgaria is the first country from Southeast Europe which showed interest in doing common business with that company.
