Trial over Burgas terror attack postponed again

For a second time the Specialized Criminal Court in Bulgaria has failed to open the court case over the terror attack at the Burgas Airport because of difficulties in summoning all victims and heirs of killed Israeli citizens. The next scheduled date is December 12. The bombing at the Burgas airport in a bus full of Israeli tourists, which took place on July 18, 2012, killed five Israeli tourists and the Bulgarian bus driver. 38 other people were injured in the attack. Defendants in absentia over the case are Lebanese with Australian citizenship Meliad Farah and Hassan el-Hajj Hassan, also from Lebanon but with Canadian citizenship.
