Security measures in Bulgaria strengthened

Deputy Prime Minister Rumyana Bachvarova has convened a meeting of all security services in order to discuss data and take measures related to the situation after the deadly attack in Berlin. Before the meeting, Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Chief Commissioner Georgi Kostov announced that the Interior Ministry had already taken additional security measures, given the alarming incidents abroad during the past day. There will be increased police presence during the Christmas and New Year holidays in places where many people gather, it was reported.
