The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) has opened its “60 years Bulgaria in UNESCO" Exhibition in the Sofia University of St. Kliment Ohridski.

A total of 31 panels with about 150 photos from the archives of the Bulgarian News Agency show 60 years of history with Bulgaria part of UNESCO. The oldest photo dates in the exhibition shows the visit of UNESCO Director General Luther Harris Evans in 1956, and the latest footage is from the Global Forum of Women Leaders, which took place in May 2016 in Sofia with the participation of UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova.

The exhibition presents a small part of the enormous work and commitment of thousands of people to build the image of Bulgaria in UNESCO and to erect bridges of dialogue by means of culture and shared spiritual values.
