Increased foreign interest in Bulgarian labour market registered

Experts from the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bulgaria (CITUB) report that there has been a growing interest of foreigners in the Bulgarian labor market. In May and June, some 3,000 foreigners have registered for seasonal employment. Half of them are Ukrainian citizens hired for low-skilled positions in Bulgarian seaside resorts. In connection with the forthcoming signing of labor migration agreements with Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine, CITUB insists that the texts be coordinated with trade unions and employers' organizations.
