TISPOL launches speed enforcement operation across Europe

There will be an increased level of speed enforcement control throughout the week in Bulgaria, as part of an operation by the European Traffic Police Network TISPOL, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry has announced.

Speeding is cause No. 1 of serious traffic accidents and death on the roads of Europe, TISPOL says. In this index, data for Bulgaria are below the average for the EU. The operation will also focus on the valid compulsory insurance of vehicles against civil liability.
