The new academic year at the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski was opened with an official ceremony. Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev held a speech at Bulgaria’s oldest university. Today, there are less young people in Bulgaria. That is why the Bulgarian students are among those who are called to change radically the moral climate in their motherland and remove ignorance from the country’s public life, President Radev said. In his words, the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski is Bulgaria’s secular temple, because “Bulgarians of different religions and ethnic groups honor together a common religion called knowledge.”
