Donald Tusk suggests European Parliament elections discussion during Bulgaria EU presidency

In a letter to the member states the President of the European Council Donald Tusk suggests that a discussion take place during the term of Bulgaria’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union about the elections for the new European Parliament.

Donald Tusk has circulated the letter ahead of the European Council meeting in Brussels at the end of this week.

Tusk also suggests that Sofia play host to a summit meeting for the Western Balkans in May. This is laid out in a list with proposals for the working program of the European Council until mid-2019.
