Bulgaria allots EUR 200,000 to EU Regional Trust Fund to help Syrian refugees

The Bulgarian government decided to allot EUR 200,000 to the EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis, also known as the Madad Fund. The fund helps refugees escaping from the civil war in Syria, mainly those who settled temporarily in Syria’s neighboring countries- Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq.
