Ekaterina Zaharieva: Number of Bulgarian companies interested in investing in Macedonia increase

Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva met with representatives of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation with the Republic of Bulgaria from the National Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia headed by Deputy President of Macedonia’s Parliament Frosina Tashevska-Remenski. Minister Zaharieva voiced satisfaction with the efforts of the two countries to build a new type of open and friendly relations based on the European values. Ekaterina Zaharieva pointed out that according to a survey of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, after the signature of the Good Neighbor Agreement between Bulgaria and Macedonia the number of Bulgarian companies interested in investing in Macedonia doubled as compared to 2016. Frosina Tashevska-Remenski thanked Minister Zaharieva for Bulgaria’s support for Macedonia’s EU perspective.
