After staging a protest in front of the Bulgarian National Radio building yesterday with demands for a rise in their salaries, today the musicians from the BNR’s music orchestras are continuing their protest in front of the building of the Ministry of Finance.

Alexander Velev, Director-General of the BNR stated yesterday that to raise their salaries and keep the BNR’s orchestras running, the national radio’s budget will have to be corrected. The problem will be discussed at an extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture and the Media on Thursday.
