At a briefing in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia the Minister for Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union Lilyana Pavlova reported on the work of the Bulgaria-Estonia-Austria Trio which has been presiding the Council of the European Union from July 2017 until December 2018. Thanks to the active cooperation between the three countries the EU Presidency Trio has successfully fulfilled its key priorities: a union for jobs, growth and competitiveness; a union that empowers and protects all its citizens; towards energy union and forward-looking climate policy; a union of freedom, security and justice; the union as a strong global actor.
