Libya seeks resumption of economic ties with Bulgaria

Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva met in Brussels with Libya’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Siala. Ekaterina Zaharieva and Mohamed Siala discussed the forthcoming visit of Libya’s Premier Fayez a--Saraj in Sofia. Minister Siala thanked Ekaterina Zaharieva for the quick and timely reaction of the Bulgarian authorities in relation to Badr case and pointed out specifically that Libya has not ordered seizure of vessels sailing in Libyan waters under Bulgarian flag and that all Bulgarian ships are welcome to Libyan ports. According to Mohamed Siala, Tripoli seeks resumption of economic ties with Bulgaria.
