Photo: library

Plovdiv is Bulgaria’s second largest city. It was named European Capital of Culture which means the city is a major focus in the next twelve months, Forbes informs. Price trends are consistent with Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, where mid-priced homes saw 9% increase in 2018. The prices of the properties in the luxurious segment rose 6%. While these aren’t double digit growth numbers, the amount of investments that comes from being the European Capital of Culture will make these numbers rise significantly in just a year’s time, the forecast reads. In its analysis Forbes compares data of LeadingRe consortium which consists of nearly 600 international real estate brokerages in 70 countries.
