Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, stated in an address to the 7th Global Baku Forum taking place there, that Bulgaria has always wanted the UK to withdraw from the EU with a deal or agreement so there will be rules. Boyko Borissov said that in the past 10 days he had discussed Brexit with Theresa May twice.

In his address to the forum, the Bulgarian prime minister stressed that in the name of peace everyone needs to do what they can so that a meeting between NATO and Russia may take place.

Boyko Borissov announced that later in the day he would be discussing, with President Ilham Aliyev, possible ways for Azerbaijan to take part in the European gas hub Balkan.
