Bulgaria is a country with a developed start-up culture and many young and enterprising people. They can conquer the global markets if they receive the right support and have a bit of luck, Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Manolev said. The foreign direct investments increased with over EUR 500 million in two years. The FDIs exceed EUR 2.86 billion since the current Bulgarian cabinet assumed office, data of the Bulgarian National Bank shows. According to the National Statistical Institute, the total volume of investments (domestic and foreign investments) amount to EUR 10 billion in that period. Investor’s interest in Bulgaria has increased, Deputy Minister Manolev said. A popular German company for manufacture of automotive upholstery and interior components will open a factory in Ruse in 2019. Leading car manufacturers are clients of that company, Deputy Minister Manolev went on to say.
