International Fair Plovdiv hosts EU food safety conference

In Plovdiv, experts discuss issues of the food industry, in accordance with the most up-to-date requirements of the Bulgarian and European regulatory framework. 

The Union of Food Industry is the organizer of the 14th National Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation, which is being held at the International Fair Plovdiv. Some of the topics that will be covered are the Green Deal, changes in legislation and issues related to control aimed at improving the quality and safety of organic food. Participants will be introduced to the current requirements and solutions related to the production of food, beverages and equipment.

The lecturers include experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, the University of Food Technologies, the Institute of Food Preservation and Quality and others.
