PES leader Sergey Stanishev climbs to second place in BSP list

The leader of the Party of European Socialists, Sergei Stanishev, has for the second time shuffled the BSP list for the European Parliament Election. Thanks to preferences he ranks second after the leader Elena Yoncheva. The PES head has received over 28,000 personal preferences, with a threshold of 22,500 votes for the BSP. This is the second shuffle of the socialists’ list by Stanishev, who was not included in its original version. The leader of the BSP list, Elena Yoncheva received more than 70,000 personal votes. IMRO also announced that preference places director Andrey Slabakov at the second place in the MEP list of the party.
