The Bulgarian team has returned from Baku with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals, won at the International Olympiad in Informatics.
The gold medal went to Radoslav Dimitrov from Plovdiv. Alexander Krastev from Varna and Martin Kopchev from Gabrovo won silver medals. Viktor Kozhuharov from Ruse won a bronze medal. 327 students from 87 countries participated in the Olympiad in Azerbaijan. After the end of the forum Bulgaria ranked 10th when it came to points and medals. This has been Bulgaria’s best achievement in the past 5 years.
