Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev is participating at the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. President Radev met Moldova’s head of state Igor Dodon within the frameworks of the event. Presidents Radev and Dodon confirmed that the Taraclia University Grigorii Tsamblak will become a subsidiary of Angel Kanchev University of Ruse. During the meeting with his Iraqi counterpart Barham Salih, President Radev said that Bulgaria should renew its presence in the healthcare, education and infrastructure fields in this Arab country. Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva who is also taking part at the UN General Assembly, met with India’s Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Fifteen Indian cities will issue Bulgarian travel visas under alleviated procedures, which will improve strategic partnership between the two countries. This step will facilitate contacts between business and people, Ministers Zaharieva and Jaishankar underlined.
