In a phone conversation with Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo welcomed the efforts of the Bulgarian government aimed at modernizing its armed forces and reach the NATO target to spend 2% of its gross domestic product on defense.
