Rise of social payments planned for 2020

Starting July 1, pensions will rise by 6.7%. This is envisaged in the draft budget of the State Social Security for 2020, the Bulgarian National Radio reported. The state will spend nearly EUR 373 million more on pensions next year. There is no change in the formula for calculating pensions. 203 million euros more or a total of EUR 2.43 billion will be spent for healthcare next year. This has become clear from the draft budget of the National Health Insurance Fund.
