On Sunday, firefighters managed to put off a wildfire in Stara Planina below the peak of Vrazha Glava. The fire has been located, but in order not to re-ignite, the area is being monitored. The fire is believed to have started from a smoldering embers left over from a previous fire. From October 27 to October 30, more than 150 firefighters, military, volunteers and forest rangers were putting off a large fire around in the same region.
