Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier Ekaterina Zaharieva pays official visit to Namibia

The two-day visit of Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva to Namibia has begun. Minister Zaharieva visits this country at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. Ekaterina Zaharieva will also meet Namibia’s President Hage Gottfried Geingob, Ministers and Namibian citizens who studied in Bulgarian universities. Minister Zaharieva is expected to discuss the business contacts with Namibia, as well as ways to restore the study of Namibian students in Bulgaria. In the first six months of 2019, Bulgaria’s exports to Namibia amounted to USD 84.3 million-mainly batteries, copper ores and organic products.
