The fourteen day quarantine in the town of Bansko will be cancelled at 7pm on March 31. The anti-epidemic measures which are in place in the whole country remain. The winter resort has been under a full quarantine since March 18 and was the first town in Bulgaria closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. People are allowed to go to the shops only. All foreign tourists were evacuated from the town. Police forces have been deployed to all exits of the resort to check the body temperature of the people. People travelling for emergency reasons were only allowed to leave the town after draconian disinfection procedures.
