7 people employed at the Emergency First Aid Center in Sofia have been infected with COVID-19, the Director of the Emergency First Aid centre in Sofia Dr. Georgi Gelev announced. The medics were placed under quarantine and are suffering mild symptoms of the disease. The second results of their tests are expected. They were infected with COVID-19 when they were on duty. The emergency teams visited nearly 600 patients on their home addresses. The authorities are now checking these addresses.
