Four countries-Ireland, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and Turkey have already agreed to allow Bulgarians whose identity documents have expired to return to Bulgaria until October 15, this country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva announced. This decision is in response to the request of the Bulgarian authorities. The USA announced that the transportation security officers working at the airports decide whether to allow foreign citizens whose documents expired to fly to their home countries. Minister Zaharieva pointed out that the Bulgarian authorities assist any Bulgarian who needs help, but they cannot lift quarantine in other countries. That is why citizens are advised to refrain from travelling.
