Cabinet minister fined for smoking in the workplace

Minister of Culture Boil Banov was fined by the health authorities for smoking in the workplace during a videoconference of the cabinet.

The fact was reported, via email, by a member of the public who noticed the violation in news coverage on Bulgarian National TV. Minister Banov commented for the BNR that he had made a mistake. I am forever trying to give up these vile cigarettes but I have not succeeded. Maybe this time I shall, Minister Banov said.
