The Ambassadors of EU member states to Sofia greet the Bulgarian people in a video message

The Ambassadors of the EU member states to Sofia sent a joint message to the Bulgarian people in a video message on occasion of the Europe Day marked on May 9.

In times when the whole world is facing the biggest challenge after World War II, the common message emphasizes the essence of the European Union: peace, freedom and solidarity.

The video begins with words of Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva: “United we Stand Strong. Happy Europe Day!” All Ambassadors of the EU member states to Sofia repeat in their own language the Bulgarian motto written on the façade of the Bulgarian National Assembly. The video will be published in the social media of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassies of the EU countries in Sofia.
