All persons entering Greece through Kulata-Promachonas checkpoint tested for Covid-19

6 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered on the Greek Island of Thassos. Four Serbian tourists are placed in a quarantine hotel. The other two infected persons, presumably Bulgarians, were allowed to return home. They are all young people without symptoms. The tests were taken at their entry into Greece at the Kulata-Promachonas border checkpoint. 
Due to the lower traffic through the Kulata-Promachonas border crossing, 100% testing of all arriving passengers has been introduced. The procedure is for drivers and passengers to get out of the cars. They are tested and then they are allowed to continue their trip. Testing is free. Whether PCR tests or others are performed is not yet clear. 
The situation on the border is relatively calm and there are no queues at the Kulata-Promachonas checkpoint.
