Tenders for the supply of electricity needed for the country's "cold reserve" will be canceled. Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova has told the Bulgarian National Radio that the funds will be given to the state-owned TPP "Maritsa Iztok-2". Legislative changes are also envisaged so that the Minister of Energy can guarantee the security of the system. According to GERB, the measure is temporary and will work until the middle of 2021, when the energy market will be fully liberalized.
