According to the Speaker of the National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva, the possible transition to a caretaker government at this time would be irresponsible.

At the unveiling of a monument to Colonel Atanas Krastev, a pilot killed during World War II, Karayancheva pointed out that dialogue with protesters was important. "The most important thing next week is to overcome the vote of no confidence, to show that the coalition is stable, that we have a program to implement for at least another eight months, and of course we must remember the positive things that the government has done so far," Karayancheva said.
