The Sofia municipal council adopted the long-term strategy “Vision for Sofia” for the development of the capital city over the next 30 years.
The strategy called Vision Sofia 2050 was approved by the municipal councilors from the parties GERB, VMRO and Ataka, the Bulgarian Socialist Party abstained.
“The long-term vision is for 2050 Sofia to be a compact, diverse and adaptable city, skillfully managing its resources and involving citizens in decisions for the future,” the document reads.
