Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev: There will probably be a Covid-19 vaccine in Bulgaria soon

The coronavirus vaccine is expected to be ready at the end of autumn or the beginning of next year at the latest, Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev, Director of the National Centre of Parasitic Diseases said for Nova TV.

In his words it is thanks to the hot and dry weather that the number of Covid-19 cases in the country has been going down. With the coming of autumn, however, face masks should be worn because mask-wearing brings the virus transmission risk down to 5%.
