Bulgaria is late in developing National Recovery Plan: syndicate leader

Bulgaria is late in developing the National Recovery Plan, the President of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria Plamen Dimitrov said during the opening of a forum on social dialogue. Bulgaria must formulate its application to the European Commission until Christmas, Plamen Dimitrov said further, BNR reports.

In order to receive funds under the Recovery and Resilience Facility which is part of the European Union’s new facility- Next Generation EU, each member state must develop a strategy and a recovery plan. The plan must contain measures and reforms in fields such as competitiveness, productivity, education and skills, healthcare, employment, social, economic and regional cohesion, the head of Bulgaria’s biggest labor union went on to say.
