Police raided homes of members of the criminal group and found different firearms, including semi-automatic rifles and Makarov pistols with silencers and riflescopes. The group has been functioning since January 2020. The competent authorities are investigating whether and how the two employees of the arms plant in Kazanlak took illegally gun parts which were later assembled in rifles and pistols.
