Bulgarians to spend the largest share of their incomes for holidays

Bulgarians plan to set aside 25% of their monthly income, or an average of 269 euros per household, for Christmas holiday expenses. This is shown by the data from the international survey Christmas Barometer 2020, in which nearly 20,000 households from 11 European countries and Australia took part, our reporter Maria Kostova informed.Bulgaria ranks first followed by Romanians and Croats, who plan to spend 24 and 23% of their incomes.

Polled Bulgarians would spend 24% of their budget for food, 18% on winter clothes and shoes, about 8% - on games and toys, and another 8% to finance the needs of children.
