On January 1, 2024, Bulgarians will most likely shop using euros, the governor of the Bulgarian National Bank Dimitar Radev predicts, quoted by Bloomberg TV Bulgaria. The country's entry into ERM 2 will accelerate the process of convergence of the Bulgarian economy and that of the Eurozone and reaching incomes close to those in the Central European countries, Radev says.
